Composite cost objects

Sometimes costing of multiple cost object combinations is necessary. This may be an investigative in nature to test the feasibility of adding new packs to an existing product range. Multiple cost object combinations could be tested for an overall costing of the mix. The cost of a new composite object can be analyzed per cost line, per cost pool and per cost object. This feature is handy to cost packs comprising already costed objects. For example, say the data for a tool manufacturing company had been entered. A proposed new retail pack of 6 screwdrivers, a hammer and a toolbox could be costed using composite cost objects.
